Cows send out useful information every moment of the day. You just need to know how to read the signals. This PreCongress Energizer Workshop trains advisors and dairymen in the field of practical dairy farming. We focus on the cows demands regarding barn design, feed and care. Dairy farming is about cows after all. This workshop informs and confronts in a pleasant way. Our training is instructive and practical. Our advice is to the point and based on scientific knowledge. Our aim is “Happy cows, happy farmers”, and we would like to help you to be a more happy advisor!

The CowSignals® concept concerns to Look-Think-Act. After serious observation in the barn (see, hear, feel) we look at success factors, bottlenecks and improvement points. Therefore we use the CowSignals® diamond and our checklists. Does the cow get the 6 freedoms of the pasture, also offered in the barn? In the middle number seven: Health. Do you see curved backs, empty rumens, wounds or infection? If so, what then? Such practical issues are addressed in this workshop.
